Carol Sue (Holmes) Greene, 82, of Charleston passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 24, 2019 after a seven year battle with Alzheimer’s.
She will be missed by her husband of 52 years, Benjamin C. Greene; her children, Benjamin C. Greene II and Russell Holmes Greene (Kelly); sisters Francis Schneider, Eunice Jones, Diana Allen, Faye Fisher, Anna Young, and Evelyn Briscoe; grandchildren, Brittani, Caylee, Benjie III, Kaylin, and Sydney Greene; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Macel Holmes; sister, Helen Lanham; brothers, Darrell and Orville Holmes.
Burial at Fairplain Cemetery.
