Mary Catherine Berry, 82, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Dunbar, passed from this life on August 2, 2007. She was born September 9, 1924, in Lexington, Ky., to the late Frank Mitchel and Willie May Berry. Mrs. Berry was a retired domestic worker, who was a beloved employee for many years. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Berry; son, Maurice G. Berry; and daughter, Edith Jacqueline Berry. She is survived by her sons, James R. Berry of Dunbar; Rance A. Berry (Dianne) of Poca; six grandchildren two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2006, at Preston Funeral Home, 812 Donnally Street, Charleston, with the Rev. James Ealy officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service
