Crystal's Obituary

Crystal (Touchstone) Young, 48, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota. In death, she joins her parents, David and Carol Touchstone; and her nephew, Chase Keener.

She was born in Rome, Georgia to David and Carol (Camp) Touchstone on September 13, 1970. She grew up in Rome, graduating from Model High School in 1988.

Crystal moved to Central City, South Dakota over 20 years ago where she operated a cleaning business. During a trip back to Georgia she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Greg Young. Before long, Greg packed up and moved west to be with her. The two were married on November 8, 2014 at the Friendship Tower in Deadwood, South Dakota.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Greg Young; sister, Tabitha Jett; sister, Kim Howe; brother-in-law, Bob Howe; four nieces; four nephews; several grand nieces and nephews; and many very good friends.

She will be deeply missed by all of those who were lucky enough to have known her.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Deadwood VFW Post 5969, 10 Pine Street in Deadwood, SD and on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1pm-5pm at New Antioch Baptist Church, 4553 Calhoun Rd NE, in Rome, GA.
