Nancy A. McCormack, age 71, of Mazon, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris. Born December 24, 1947 in Morris, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Janet (Gunderson) Anderson.

Nancy was a graduate of Morris High School, Class of 1962. She married James R. McCormack in 1975 and they resided in Mazon. She worked for the Fox Developmental Center in Dwight as an Assistant Physical Therapist and also volunteered at the Grundy County Health Department. She was a longtime member of the Verona United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; stepdaughter, Kimberly (Russ) Wendling; grandchildren Kaitlyn (Jeremy) White and Anna Wendling (Jake Hines); brothers-in-law, Dave Findlay, Forrest McCormack and Bill McCormack; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck and Marge McCormack, Don and Janet McCormack and Ken and Raynell McCormack; sister-in-law, Helen Griffiths; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents; her sister Betty; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud and Margaret McCormack and Dorothy and Tom Haas; brother-in-law, Bill Griffiths; and sisters-in-law Jane and Sylvia McCormack.

Visitation for Nancy will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home. A Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ward Cemetery in Mazon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nancy's name to the Verona United Methodist Church or to Park Pointe Health and Rehab Activities Department.
