Obituary of Nicole Robinson
Nicole Andrea "Nikki" Robinson, 30, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Arnot Ogden Hospital following her long battle with addiction over the years.

She was born on February 22, 1989 in Providence, RI, the daughter of Tom Robinson and Tammy Varga.

Nikki was a graduate of Tioga Center High School. She had a love for art and was very talented. Unfortunately, her addiction overcame that part of her life. When drugs took ahold of her life it changed her future, stole her dreams, and changed her path in life forever. Her family struggled over the years to help her with their love and support, seeing her through many dark days and now are left to grieve what might have been but knowing her struggles and the demons she fought so hard to overcome are silent. There desire would be that her life and the tragedy they faced every day and their story would help someone out there who is facing the same reality.

She is predeceased by her brothers Richard Thomas Robinson and Richard Whitman, maternal grandfather Thomas Varga, paternal grandfather Lavern Sturdevant and niece Zoey Eberlin.

Nikki is survived by her parents Tammy Varga of Waverly, NY and Tom Robinson and Candy VanSchaick of Endicott, NY, brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Rebecca Whitman of Vestal, NY, sister and brother-in-law Crystal and David Vandusen of Barton, NY, sister Tiffany Robinson of Milan, PA, brother and sister-in-law Andrew and Geraldine Robinson of Sayre, PA, and sister Tina Robinson of Waverly, NY. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents Mildred and Richard Vanhousen, paternal grandparents George and Barbara Robinson and Janice and Tom Spicer, several aunts and uncles, and her nieces and nephews whom she adored Ella Eberlin, Mary Vandusen, Alessa Robinson, David Vandusen, Alex Eberlin, Alek Robinson, Damieon Whitman, Trevor Whitman and Ian Whitman, and special friend Dale Durfey.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1pm – 3pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at 3pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Doug Brock officiating.
