Arthur O. Weber, 89, of Sheboygan, formerly of Brookfield, passed away Thursday morning, December 27, 2018 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by his family.
Born March 21, 1929 in Cook County, IL, Arthur was the son of the late Arthur and Anna Lichtenauer Weber. He attended Chicago area schools. On August 12, 1950, he was united in marriage to Elaine L. Stuefen at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. They were married for 68 years.
Art was a draftsman for Milwaukee Electric Tool for many years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. He was a member of the Great Lakes Flying Club where he built and flew model airplanes. He enjoyed dancing with Elaine and they belonged to square dancing clubs. He also enjoyed spending time in the garden, bowling, playing cards but his greatest joy was fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine, Sheboygan; his nieces and nephew, Nancy Meinhardt, Sheboygan, Audrey (Tom) Achtmann, Oostburg, Vi (Warren) Miller, Sheboygan, Jim (Darlene) Gruenke, Lac du Flambeau, Cheryl (Jody) Booth, Sheboygan, and Sharon (Ted) Korlesky, Sheboygan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur, his mother, Anna (Leo) Beninger, a brothers-in-law, Marvin and Herbert (Delores) Stuefen, sister-in-law, Delores (Oscar) Ottensmann, nephews-in-law, Rick Meinhardt, John Ottensmann and Jack Stuefen.
Committal services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Garden of Eternal Life of Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Arthur's arrangements.
