Lillard “Rooster” Anderson, 71 of Gainesboro, TN passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the St. Thomas West Hospital, Nashville, TN. Lillard was born January 13, 1948 at Buffalo Valley, TN to the late Millard Anderson & Philna Presley Anderson. In addition to his parents, Lillard was preceded in death by three brothers, T.J., James and C.B. Anderson. Lillard is survived by his wife, Juanita Anderson; one son, Joe Anderson; and one daughter, Hope Combs all of Gainesboro, TN; grandchildren, Dewayne Anderson, Lane Anderson, Steven Bowling, Kelsie Davis, Logan Combs, Keri Hagy & special grandson, Jamie Scott; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Conner, Ronald, Laura, Kaydance & Sylvia. Lillard is also survived by one brother, Glen Anderson of Panther, WV. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, Feb. 22 & Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at the home of Sylvia Justice, Panther, WV. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 11AM from the home with Elder Jerry Stacy, Alvie Baker, Glen Vance & Freddie Vance. Burial will follow at the Justice Family Cemetery, Panther, WV.
