He and his twin brother were fine when they were fed at 4 a.m. on the morning he died. Their father looked in on them about 6:30 a.m., before he left for work. But when their mother rose and checked on them a little over an hour later, little Michael had died.
Besides his parents and his twin brother, he was survived by two older brothers, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Skillern of Quincy, and grandfather A. M. Swift of Oroville.
