Mrs. Marie Baker born April 17, 1925 departed this life on Thursday February 21, 2019 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 93 years old. Marie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Clifton Daniels and the late Mary Stamper Daniels. Other than her parents, Marie was also preceded in death by her Husband, Arnold Baker; Five Brothers, Conley Daniels, Hershel Daniels, Charles Daniels, Lawrence Daniels and Lewis Daniels.
Mrs. Marie Baker leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Three Sons, Lewis Baker & Connie of Chavies, Larry Wayne Baker & Mary Ann of Chavies, and Ricky Lewis Baker & Michele of Hazard; Three Daughters, Ruby June Neace & Dan of Chavies, Imogene Bowling & Kenneth of Chavies, and Beverly Turner & William of Altro; Two Sisters, Ella Kilburn of Austin, IN and Lillie Davidson & Ira of Chicago, Illinois; 13-Grandchildren, 16-Great Grandchildren, 1-Great Great Grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Marie Baker will be conducted on Sunday February 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Sister Sue Stacy officiating. The Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery located at Chavies, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6-9 P.M.
