Ron served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He worked as a millwright for Toledo Technologies for 36 years. He enjoyed playing his guitar, going to church, reading his bible and was a member of the Church of God in Mansfield, Ohio. Ron could always be found in his garage at home welding, fabricating, tinkering and fixing things. His greatest joy in life came from the time he spent with his family.
Along with his wife of nearly 64 years, Pauline, he is survived by his sons Matthew Hartman of Stony Ridge, Ohio and Paul Hartman of Luckey, Ohio, daughter Kelly (Jason) Harding of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, sister Judy Parris of Whitehouse, Ohio, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ronald Hartman Jr., brothers Lowell Hartman, Larry Hartman and Marlyn Hartman and sisters Wilma Nickell and Lila Shelhart.
