BIO: Ethel was the first of six children born to Charles and Rosalie Jenkins. She was moved to Camden, NJ at an early age. Ethel graduated from Camden High School. That the age of 16 while attending high school she started doing women's hair, which she love. Ethel moved to Denver, CO. Ethel sewed and crocheted, she made Khalilah's dresses and crocheted dollies and tams for women, which she sold. She later obtained her cosmetology license and started to work as a beautician. Ethel went to Dental Assistance School. She attended Bethel A.M.E. Church in Camden, NJ and Union Baptist Church in Denver, CO, and joined Scott United Methodist Church, where she served on many auxiliaries.
