Leon was born in Dallas, Texas on December 19, 1925, to the late Leon B. and Mabel (Kitchens) Robertson, Sr. On August 14, 1951, he married Fontaine Jones and they made their home in Dallas until 1977 when they moved to Ennis. He served his country proudly in the United State Army Air Corps during World War II for two years.
Leon worked for IBM as an engineer for 34 years. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fontaine Jones Robertson; and sisters, Maurice Miller and Eloise Appelt.
Survivors include his daughters: Cheryl Neal and her husband, Jack, and Cyndy Brown and her husband, Chip; grandchildren, Autumn Pinckard and Brooke Brown; along with a host of extended family and friends.
