He was preceded by his father; his grandfather, Elder A.L. Thomas; grandmother, Minnie F. Thomas; his uncles, Leon Shelby, Alvin Phillips, Eddie Dancy, and James Bailey.
Jeffery was a graduate of Bradley High school and Cleveland State Community College. He was employed at TDOT for over ten years.
Jeffery was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church under the leadership of Rev. Rhonda S. Westfield. He sang in the choir and was a very talented artist, poet, and a skilled carpenter.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mamie (Elijah) Perkins, sister, brother, 7 aunts, Uncle, nices, grand niece, nephew, and a host of other relatives and cousins.
Interment to follow at Fort Hill cemetery.
