She is survived by her sons, Ronald Settles and his wife Lisa, Michael Ray Settles; daughters, Deanna "Missy" Brown and her husband Kenneth, and Lori Smith and her husband Keith; nephew, Ronald Stricklin and his wife Stacey, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jacob Settles, David Brown, Deven Brown, DonnaLeah Morris, David Glen Golomski; great grandchildren, Riley Brown, Leeanna Brown, Caleb Murphy, Caden Murphy, Hattie Morris, Issac Bishop, Alyssa Bishop, Mary Joyce "MJ" Golomski; sisters, Sandra Perry and Treasa Highland; brother, Denny Ray Highland; and nephew, Joey Highland.
Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She not only raised her children, she also stepped up and filled in as Mom to her sister Treasa, her grandson David Glen and her nephew Ronald. She had owned and operated Lillie Dee's for 15 years and while she ran the cafe Joyce never turned anyone away. She was also a cook on the towboat for ACBL until she came home to take care of David Glen.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her son , Eric Leo Golomski; and brothers, JC Highland, Larry Wayne Highland, David Earl Smith, and Greg Highland.
