A native of Walhalla, SC, Mrs. Gibson was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Bonnie Collins Sullivan. She retired from the Walhalla Garment Plant and Jantzen. Mrs. Gibson was a member of the Hattie Miller Sunday School Class at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Walhalla, SC.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by her sons: Randy Gibson (Karen), Rick Gibson (Lisa), Larry Gibson (Linda) and Johnny Gibson; brother: Leroy “Roy” Sullivan; sisters: Bonnie Nichols and Bernice Bond; grandchildren: Shawn Gibson, Amanda Gibson, Tracy Morris, Crystal Martin, Misty Gibson and Heather Spark; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her daughter: Karen Melody Heaton; sisters: Mildred Langston, Julia Ward, Pauline Sullivan and Annette Sullivan; and brothers: Alvin Sullivan and W.R. Sullivan.
Burial at Oconee Memorial Park.
