Renee H. Yates Norfolk - Renee Hall Yates, 86, of the 6400 block of Granby St., has left us to join "Buddy" her beloved husband of 51 years; her parents; and her sister, who have predeceased her. She has been a volunteer at Bon Secours Senior Health & Wellness since her retirement from Norfolk Public Schools' Data Processing Dep't in 1990. She was a member of TAVS and Chapter 157 WOTM. She is survived by three children, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers at Province Place of DePaul for the loving care and friendship they have given to Mrs. Yates over the past four years. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 from 1 to 4 pm at her son's home, 1351 Burlington Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23464. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Union Mission at PO Box 3203, Norfolk, VA 23514-3203. Cremation & Funeral Services of Tidewater assisted the family.
