Tamara "Tammy" Steel-Hines, 61, passed away on the morning of February 15, 2019, in Pinedale, Wyoming. Tammy was born on October 5, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan. She lived many places before settling down in Boulder, Wyoming.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, her horses, dogs, and loved photography. A passion she inherited from her Mom Barbra. She liked to crochet, was an excellent cook, and enjoyed a good tune. She was ferociously protective of her family and always rooted for the "underdog". She told it how she saw it and sometimes seemed to put on a tough exterior, but underneath was soft hearted, loving and gentle. She will be missed by all and remembered always.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Lance Shaffer, Roger Abernathy, her son, Jeremiah Lamoureux and her little sister, Cathleen Jennings.

She is survived by her partner, Cecil McSweeney, of Boulder, WY, her children, Craig Abernathy and (Annette) of Glenwood Springs, CO, Shannon and Ryan Coston, of Evanston, WY, Jesse Lamoureux and (Maria), of Pittsburgh, PA. Her Aunt & Uncle Sue and Greg Olson, of Morrison, CO. Grandchildren Nikki, Braden, Shayla, Tammy, Amber, 6 Great Grand Children, and countless Nieces and Nephews and Cousins.
