Miss Lucy Mae Dalton, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, early Wednesday morning, February 20, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Billy McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00 AM Saturday, prior to the service in the mausoleum chapel.

Lucy was born July 30, 1931 in Rockingham County to the late John A. and Maggie Sue Ingram Dalton. She was a former member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a retired supervisor with the textile industry.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Minnie Sue Ward, Lena Preston and Betty Lou Dalton; 4 brothers, John Dalton, Beverly Dalton, Ray Dalton and James Dalton.

Survivors include a sister, Catherine Dalton and a brother, William Dalton, both of Jamestown and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, Guilford South Camp, P.O. Box 77245, Greensboro, NC 27417-7245.

George Brothers Funeral Service is assisting the Dalton family with funeral arrangements.
