She was born in Forsyth County, GA on March 22, 1951, daughter of the late Lamon and Clyde Grogan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Baldwin in 2014; her brother, Rupert Grogan; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Whitfield.
Peggy was employed with Mohawk Industries for many years, and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She leaves behind her sons, Daniel Baldwin (Bria Finley) of Kennesaw, and Lee (Lisa) Baldwin of Calhoun; her grandchildren, Jessica Baldwin and Allie Baldwin; her brothers, Ray (Betty) Grogan of Calhoun, James (Hannalore) Grogan of Jacksonville, FL, and L.C. (Janie) Grogan of Calhoun; and her sisters, Millie Whitfield of Bremen, and Nancy (Jim) Luckett of Calhoun. A special niece, Hollie Jaime; caregiver, Debra Hogan; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Services to honor the life of Peggy Grogan Baldwin will be held Thursday, February 21st at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Dr. William Roberts and Rev. Gary Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Ryan Luckett, Connor Padgett, Eric Shaw, Lee Baldwin, Brian Grogan, and David Grogan. Honorary pallbearers are Jeffrey Whitfield, Aspen Grogan, and Dakota Grogan.
