Judy Kay Robinson

September 16, 1962 – February 18, 2019

Judy Kay (Parker) Robinson was born September 16, 1962 to Clarke and Leona Parker in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. She went home to be with Jesus on February 18, 2019, peacefully in her sleep in the home her husband had built for her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Mack Robinson, Jr.; daughters, Sandra Marcial and Ashley Yenssen, and husband John; son, Charles C. Robinson (13); her grandchildren: Jude, Thaddeus and Dakota Yenssen; her sisters Penny Hansen and husband Norm, Leanne Grams and husband Ben; and brother Jeffrey Parker and wife Sandie; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loved family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarke and Leona Parker and one still born daughter, Sharon Kate Robinson.

Judy grew up in a small farming community in a close knit, loving family. She loved being outdoors and practicing her piano, playing sports, and playing her Baritone.

She earned a full scholarship to the University of Wisconsin at Madison but was unaware of the opportunity until after she had enlisted in the Air Force.

She was fiercely patriotic, and one of the proudest moments of her life was when she joined the Air Force Band of the West as a Baritone horn player. It was during that time that she gave birth to her two daughters and met and married the love of her life, Charles Robinson, Jr., or her Robby, on May 26, 1990. After four years in the band she cross trained to database management and was honorably discharged on October 1, 1994.

Shortly after her marriage she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. This decision forever changed her life. Judy was a faithful wife and mother following her husband to different parts of the world as his career took him. They lived in Germany, Spain, Hawaii, and Texas. During all that time she was a very active church member. She became the church pianist in the different churches, as well as taught numerous children's classes, sang in the choir, hosted many missionaries in her home, went on visitation, and served in many other ways. Besides her Lord and her family, her other love was music and she delighted in worshiping with her piano.

Her passion and love for the Lord was obvious in the spirited way that she played. She considered it both an honor and joy to share her talent through lessons to the younger generations.

Some of the happiest moments of her life were the births of her children, especially her son Charles at the age of forty two. His birth enabled her to connect with younger moms and she used that opportunity to share Christ and her wisdom with them. She loved listening to her son learning to play the piano and was fiercely proud of all of her children. Her example of Christ forever impacted the lives of those around her.

Although cancer took her earthly life she will forever be alive in our hearts and memories and waiting for us in Heaven. Her funeral will be held at her church, Grace Baptist Temple, with her pastor, Dennis Isbell conducting the service. Judy will receive military honors after the funeral and will be interred at Mission Retama Park. Any donations, made on behalf of Judy, can be made to Grace Baptist Temple's Mission fund.
