Mrs. Helen D. (Williams) Stanton was a native of Moss Point, MS. She departed this life on Monday, February 18, 2019 for eternal rest with God. She was born on December 08, 1953 to the late Mr. Willie Lee Williams and Cora Mae Williams of Moss Point, MS. At an early age, Helen accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She was a faithful member at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and later moved her membership over to Olivet Baptist Church. She graduated “Class of 1974” of Moss Point High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Helen is preceded in death by both of her parents, Mr. Willie and Cora Williams; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. Red and Marsha Lee Stanton; her son, Eddie V. Stanton.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her devoted husband of 44 years of marriage, Eddie L. Stanton; three sons, Michael, Willie, and Burntal Stanton; grandchildren, Eddie Stanton, Jr., Kaliyah Stanton, TaCora Stanton, Yzaria Ellis and Brayden Hall; great-grandchild, Eriel Stanton; sisters, Patricia Mallety. Ida Bell Williams and Juanita Harris; brothers, Willie Franklin, Lester Williams, Alexander Williams, Wallace Williams and Roger Lee Williams; a host of sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law, cousins, family and friends.

Viewing will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Pascagoula, MS.
