This is my mom. These are a few of the things I will fondly remember about my mom:

*She loved to garden, especially roses.
*She was a CENA and loved her job! She helped countless patients and taught me to never look down at someone who needs help, for one day you will need help yourself.
*She taught me how to be compassionate and caring.
*She was born in Poland and came to America when she was 14 years old.
*Her cousin, Jerry, would go to the movies with her on Saturday's when there were double features and matinees, and Jerry would teach her how to speak English by translating.
*She was devout in her religion.
*She had a very quick wit and great sense of humor.
*She was fiercely protective of me because I am an only child.
*She taught me to accept responsibility and how to act like an adult.
*She was so PROUD of herself when she became a American Citizen!
*She accepted and treated Ken like a son instead of a son-in-law.
*She loved to tell jokes.
*She loved ALL animals!
*She was owned by 3 huskies, 2 bichons, and 1 cat throughout her lifetime.
*Any time she extra money, instead of spending it on herself, she would donate it to the Humane Society.
*She collected Angel and elephant figurines.
*She treated people with respect and expected it back in kind.
*She was my little Martha Stewart, as she loved doing all different kinds of crafts.
*She also loved to make me grilled cheese sandwiches, since I can't seem to make them myself, they always burn.
