*Her cousin, Jerry, would go to the movies with her on Saturday's when there were double features and matinees, and Jerry would teach her how to speak English by translating.
*She was devout in her religion.
*She had a very quick wit and great sense of humor.
*She was fiercely protective of me because I am an only child.
*She taught me to accept responsibility and how to act like an adult.
*She was so PROUD of herself when she became a American Citizen!
*She accepted and treated Ken like a son instead of a son-in-law.
*She loved to tell jokes.
*She loved ALL animals!
*She was owned by 3 huskies, 2 bichons, and 1 cat throughout her lifetime.
*Any time she extra money, instead of spending it on herself, she would donate it to the Humane Society.
*She collected Angel and elephant figurines.

*She was my little Martha Stewart, as she loved doing all different kinds of crafts.
*She also loved to make me grilled cheese sandwiches, since I can't seem to make them myself, they always burn.

Obituary
Teresa M. Cassani was born June 19, 1943 in Poland; the daughter of Bogdan and Helena Sawka. She entered into rest February 9, 2019 at the age of 75.
Teresa enjoyed spending time outside and could often be found working in her garden. The flowers she was able to grow delighted her friends and neighbors whenever they would visit. She also had a soft spot for all animals; she cared for many pets throughout her life including a few Siberian Huskies, Bichons, and even a few cats.
Teresa leaves behind her beloved daughter Tina (Ken) Kowalski.
Visitation for Teresa will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 2:00 pm until 9:00 with a funeral service taking place at 7:00 PM pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Michigan Humane Society at 30300 Telegraph Suit 220
