Donna J. Reynolds, 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away early Thursday morning, March 11, 2021, at Saint Anne Communities in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on February 17, 1927, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Darwin Myers and Muriel (Bowen) Myers. Donna was united in marriage to Howard Reynolds on September 11, 1948, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Monroeville, Indiana and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2008.
She graduated from Monroeville High School. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Monroeville, where she served as a Sunday school Teacher for many years. She was also a member of Von Bora Society at church and served on the Church Council.
Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She volunteered for many years at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She enjoyed traveling, and working in her yard.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda S. (Ben) Eder of Buffalo, New York and Carol J. Reynolds of Monroeville, Indiana; brother, Donald (Mitzi) Myers of Bluffton, Indiana; sister, Nadine Baumert of Payne, Ohio; two grandsons, Mark Eder and Michael Eder both of Buffalo, New York; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Howard Reynolds.
A funeral service for Donna will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home – Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville with Pastor Ralph Klinker officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
