Patricia Marie (Fitzgerald) Fish, age 80, formerly of Sandstone, passed away unexpectedly January 30, 2019 at her home in Lakeville, surrounded by loved ones.

Patricia was born in Minneapolis, MN and is the fourth of five children. She went to grade school at Incarnation in Minneapolis and then to Villa Maria Academy in Fontenac, MN, a private boarding school, then to Holy Angels High School until the eleventh grade.

She was joined in marriage to Myron Fish on December 20, 1961. Together they had six children and one adopted daughter. Patricia began working at Sears in Minneapolis after high school and became a housewife after marriage. She worked at Grand Casino Hinckley in her later years as a Guest Service representative. The family lived in Lakeville, MN, Anchorage, Alaska, and then to Sandstone for over thirty years. After Myron’s death in 2011, she moved in with her daughter Veronica and son-in-law Dustin Simon (Natalie and Addison) where she lived the remainder of her life.
Pat had many loves in her life, first her love for God, her husband Myron, her family, gardening, putting puzzles together, looking for agates, sunsets, and always thanking the Veterans for their service. Her favorite saying which she said to everyone she loved was, "I love you more".

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Myron Fish; her parents Norbert and Helen Fitzgerald; brother Norbert Fitzgerald; sister Shirley Pape; and daughter-in-law Beth Fish.

Patricia is survived by sons, Joseph Fish, Christopher (Sharon) Fish; daughters, Linda (Richard) Hart, Lisa (Marc) Miller, Patricia (Robert) Forte, Veronica (Dustin) Simon, Melaine (Christian) Schmidt; brothers, John Fitzgerald, Thomas Fitzgerald; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass is planned for Patricia at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hinckley, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
