Martha S. Geery, age 107, of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Minto, ND passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Woodside Village of Grand Forks.

Martha S. Wylot was born July 28, 1911, in Warsaw, North Dakota, the daughter of the late John and Stella (Grzeskowiak) Wylot. She attended and graduated high school in Ardoch, ND. After high school she attended the University of California.

Martha met and married Edwin B. Geery in California. They lived in Woodland Hills, California and owned and operated their own business until Edwin passed away. Martha returned to the Minto area after his passing and lived with her mother and brother. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Minto and the Minto American Legion Auxiliary. Martha loved to work in her yard and tend to her gardens.

Martha is survived by her brothers: Raymond Wylot of Grand Forks, ND and George Wylot of Placerville, CA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters: Henrietta Barta and Sarah Flanders, brothers: Ted Wylot and John Wylot and nephew Earl Flanders, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, February 22, 2019, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto. Interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery of Minto.
