Nathan (Buzz) Norton was a lifelong carpenter and builder, a trade he passed on to his son, Eric and his grandson, Joshua. During his life he also owned a restaurant and car dealership. Nathan later retired and became a blueberry farmer. He was well known for his strong work ethic and sheer will to succeed. Nathan joined the Mason Lodge in 1973 and the Shriners in 1974. He enjoyed summers at Schoodic Lake, hunting, fishing, and entertaining family and friends with his cooking.
Nathan is predeceased by his wife, Ann, of 54 years. He is survived by his son, Eric Norton of Leominster, Massachusetts and family; his daughter, Lisa (Norton) Lutes of Columbia, and family; his stepdaughter, Debbie (Choate) Skeate of Columbia, and family; and his stepdaughter, Valorie (Parritt) Geel, of Columbia, and family. Nathan is survived by his sister, Betty Peabody, of Addison and his sister, Jacklin Emerson, of Addison. He is predeceased by his sister, Glennis Emerson, of Jonesport, Maine.
The family invites you to join them for visiting and refreshments at 1pm until the time of the funeral services at 2pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Union Church in South Addison. Burial will be postponed until Spring at the Norton Family Cemetary.
