Docia Rose Adams, age 90, of Hazard, KY passed away on Feb. 14, 2019 at the Hazard Medical Center. She was a former seamstress.
Docia was born on Oct. 11, 1928 to the late Byrd Adams and the late Havana Hale Adams. She is also preceded in death by five brothers: Jody, Andy, Alec, Jack & Byrd Adams.
She is survived by one daughter: Sharon Thornsberry of Hazard, KY; one sister: Amanda Nell Adams of Iowa; two brothers: William Hale Adams of Nancy, KY & Bristol Adams of MI; three grandchildren: Tammy (Mitch) Hathorn, Kendra (Kimmie) Mullins & Shannon (Mason) Goins; six great grandchildren: Briana (Tyler) Hall, Brian Short, Jessica (Bryan) Jones, Nikita (Grayson) Moss, James Stafford Jr. & Kyra Smith Hathorn; six great great grandchildren: Lele Jones, Liam Jones, Kailyn Moss, Lucas Moss, Nevaeh Stafford & Cadence Moss along with a host of family & friends.
