She was an avid gardener and an excellent seamstress. Ruby also enjoyed painting. She helped to build her own home. According to her sister she was the best sister ever!
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband James P. Morgan, and son James Howard Morgan.
She is survived by her two daughters Ramona Hedrick (Rex) and Brenda Glover (Alan) both of Lonoke; five grandchildren Sherry Nunns, Jenny Butler, E.J. Wainwright, and Tyler and Tanner Glover; four great grandchildren Trenton Butler, Dusti Butler, and Kaiden and Colton Wainwright; brother Lester Herman of DeWitt, and sister Frances Hartley of DeValls Bluff.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. February 17 at Essex Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow in Crocketts Bluff Cemetery.
