Franklin Wilson, age 68, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday February 17, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Wilson was born on December 12, 1950 in Lakeland, Florida the son of the late David Edward (Bascom) Wilson and Lizzie Mae Fox Wilson.

He was a self-employed master carpenter.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a grandchild, Ivey Grace Corbitt, three sisters, Opal Wilson, Wilma Ellis and Annette Vickery, two brothers, Donald Wilson and David Edward Wilson and significant other, Arlene Miller.

Survivors include four sons, Eddie H. Wilson of Douglas, GA, Greg Wilson (Tammy) of Pearson, GA, Jason Wilson (Ashley) of Douglas, GA and Aaron Wilson (Jennifer) of Douglas, GA; three daughters, Amy Corbitt (Stacey) of Douglas, GA, Elizabeth Bowen (Greg) of Douglas, GA and Latasha White (Bill) of Charlevoix, Michigan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Thursday February 21, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Sunnyside Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Pearson, GA with Rev. George Bennett officiating.

Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, GA was in charge of arrangements.
