Mrs. Willie Ruth Gregory, age 80 of Franklin, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2:16 PM at her residence.
Arrangements are under the direction at Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 19, 2019 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
Willie Ruth was born October 5, 1938 in Macon Co., TN. to the late Willie Neal Henson and the late Cealie Lorene Ladd Henson. She was the wife of the late Z.W. “Zeke” Gregory. She was preceded in death by a son Rickey Gregory, 2 brothers William Joe Henson and Arlie Dean Henson and a granddaughter Christina Bowling.
She is survived by a daughter Pennie Gregory Jenkins (Phillip) of Franklin, KY, a son Charlie Gregory (Melissa) of Franklin, KY, 3 sisters Dorothy Rippy, Judy Gann and Janice Carter all of Franklin, KY, 2 brothers Randall Henson of Lebanon, TN and Larry Henson of Franklin, KY, 8 grandchildren Richard Gregory, Stephanie Smith, Jeffery Gregory, Robbie Halsell, Courtney Sullivan, Devin Gregory, Caleb Gregory and Cooper Gregory, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Willie Ruth was a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2019 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
