June B. Hamilton, 73, of Stony Hill Road, Quarryville, PA died at her residence on Friday, February 15, 2019. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Lester Vernon, Sr., and Mae Marie Armstrong Simon.
June retired from Precision Form where she was employed as a machinist.
She was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting, refinishing furniture, and inventing useful tools. But most importantly, she enjoyed time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
June was a member of Soroptomist International.
Surviving her are three children, Christine wife of John Rodgers of Honey Brook, Fredrick Sprout III of Quarryville, Shelly Hockenbrocht of Lancaster; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; five siblings, Lester Vernon Simon, Jr. of Holtwood, Dawn M. Campbell of Newark, DE, Charlotte M. Henderson of Quarryville, Kathleen M. Lewis of Strasburg, and Susan B. Baughman of Manheim.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Mt.
