Harrison Thomas invented the Harrison Thomas Haybinder, patented in 1890. He lived and worked on a farm in Lafayette on land he inherited from his father. About 1894 he sold the farm after a series of losses and moved to Syracuse (114 Barnes Ave). By 1904, he was bankrupt. So far, I have been unable to find a record of his death or burial, but know he outlived his son Clarence who died in 1916. Harrison and Ann Elizabeth had another son too, Alexander Francis Thomas, born about 1865 and went by the name "Frank" in the 1880 census.
