Lloyd took a job with the Ohio Department of Transportation and after many years retired from the agency.
He was a lifetime member of St. Dominic Church and volunteered to maintain the church. Lloyd would mentor children in the church neighborhood and have them attend Sunday Mass.
He loved listening to long play records, riding his many bicycles, reading his Bible, and enjoyed helping out at the Neighborhood House.
Preceded in death by his parents, Rupert Sr. and Gladys Turner; sister, Ruby; brothers Harold, Rupert Jr., Clarence, and Fred.
Lloyd is survived by sisters Wilma, Mary (William) Tobe; brothers, Richard, Gerald; Kenneth (Blanca) Turner; many other relatives and friends.
