Spencer, Joseph N. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Joseph N. Spencer, age 85, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 14, 2019 at Bay Shores Nursing Center. The son of the late Lawrence and Anna (Zadonia) Spencer, he was born on October 21, 1933 in Saginaw. Joe served his country in the U.S. Army and then went on to work for over 38 years at Saginaw Steering Gear. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish and in his spare time enjoyed working with computers and his 3D printer. On April 21, 1956 Joe married the former Carole A. Baranek. In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Jacques; a son-in-law, Zachary Jones; and two brothers, Donald and Monte Spencer.
