She was born July 6, 1947, in Lima, OH, daughter of the late George Ralph Thompson and Willett Ann (Wheeler) Thompson.
Jeanette loved babysitting children and worked many years in childcare. She was also of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son, Eric Wright (Missy) of Crossville; daughter, Tammi Beasley (Todd) of Virginia; brothers, Wayne Thompson of Florida, John Thompson of Kentucky and Mike Thompson of Tennessee; sisters, Sylvia Hassler of Tennessee and Nancy Baker of Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews and children Jeanette cared for over the years.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by her brother, Don Thompson; and sister, Judy Davenport.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. with Bro Scott White officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
