Katie Nichols, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Gilbert and Evelyn (Pace) Rhoades, was born January 11, 1951 in Springfield, MO and departed this life on February 5, 2019 at the age of 68.

Katie had been a resident of the area for fifteen years, moving here from Green Forest, AR. She enjoyed her job as a sales clerk in Branson. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Katie was a member of the New Testament Christian Church in Reeds Spring, MO.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Nichols; son-in-law, Rick Phalen; and sister, Dorcas Baker.

Survivors include: her daughter, Cindy Phalen of Kimberling City, MO; sister, Nancy Allen of Seligman, MO; two grandchildren, Hannah Kay Phalen and Brett Mathew Phalen and a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at New Testament Christian Church Reeds Spring, MO with Jerry Jenkins officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to New Testament Christian Church, 21016 Main St. Reeds Spring, MO 65737.

Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
