MARSHFIELD – Gary Wayne Schafer, 40, Glendale, Calif., died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, in St. Joseph Hospital, Burbank, Calif. He was a member of Colony Baptist Church, North Hollywood, Calif. He is survived by his mother, Emmogene Schafer, Marshfield; his father, Harold Schafer, state of Calif.; two brothers, Jerry and Barry Schafer; two sisters-in-law, Stella and Linda; five nephews, Jerry Jr., Barry, Jr. John Gregory and Daniel; three nieces, April, Jami and Amanda Schafer, all of Marshfield; a grandmother, Eva Holt, Strafford, and a host of relatives and friends. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Temple Baptist Church, Marshfield, with Dr. Roy Wallace officiating.
