Ruth Carol Voyles, 55, Independence, MO, passed away June 30, 1997, at Columbia Independence Regional Health Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence.
Mrs. Voyles was born August 29, 1941, in Independence, and had lived in this area her entire life. She was a very giving and loving person. She enjoyed painting and art. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Voyles is survived by her husband, Stanley Edward Voyles, of the home; her children, Stanley Edward Voyles, Jr., Ft. Myers, FL, Joseph Lee Voyles, Belle Lynn Ruby and Phillip Dean Voyles, all of Independence, and Dana Jeanette Martinez, of the home; brother, Hershel Clark, Warsaw, MO; sister, Donna Moss, Independence; 11 granddaughters; three grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
