Corey came into this world fast and left way too soon.
He was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, grandson and friend.
He was a duck hunter, turkey hunter and fly fisherman.
He was a surveyor with a work ethic like no other.
He was a kind hearted soul who enjoyed helping others.
He was a great conversationalist who never met a stranger.
Corey is gone but not forgotten and loved by many.
Corey was born June 30, 1986 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Marvin E. and Janet S. (Barinsky) Allen. He was employed as a land surveyor. He was a former resident of Alma, Arkansas; a 2004 graduate of Alma High School. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed kayaking, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed sharing his time and talents with the Buffalo River Arkansas Chapter of Cross Trail Outfitters.
He is survived by his father Marvin E. Allen of Pyatt, Arkansas; his mother Janet S. Ruth and her husband, Mark, of Alma, Arkansas; his brother Brandon C. Allen and his wife, Amber, of Lowell, Arkansas; two step-brothers: Coty Ruth of Little Rock, Arkansas; Eli Ruth of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his aunts and uncles: Mary Sue Gilliland and Patsy Edmondson both of Yellville, Arkansas; Connie Ingram of Bethel Heights, Arkansas; Jim Barinsky of Idaho; Beverly Checkoway of Mexico; Marlene Stacy and Gary Barinsky, both of Omaha, Arkansas; and one nephew Peyton Allen of Lowell, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carl and Maxine Allen; Ray and Frances Barinsky; and his uncle Mike Allen.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Alma, Arkansas
