Phillip Wayne Robinson, 58, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Medical City Hospital, Plano, Texas. He was born June 14, 1960 in Bonham, Texas to Eugene and Ruby (Birdsong) Robinson. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home, Bonham, Texas. A family graveside service will be held at a later date at Cypress Cemetery, Cypress Texas.

He began working at Texas Instruments right out of high school and worked his way up to Engineering Technician. He understood the mechanics of how things work, and we seldom saw something broken that he couldn't figure out how to fix. He enjoyed watching sports especially football and he was a die-hard Cowboys fan. Phil's favorite hobby was Rocketry. He began shooting model rockets as a kid and that interest continued throughout his life, as he attended meets and shot larger and larger rockets as he progressed. Before his health began declining, he had numerous adventures from flying in a Glider Plane to Bungee Jumping and much in between. He was a strong person and never gave up no matter what adversities he faced. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

Phil was preceded in death by his mother on February 10, 2017.
