Ida Mae Lee, affectionately known as “Momma”, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2019, at Our Lady of Lake hospital surrounded by her family. Ida was born on February 22, 1934, in White Castle, LA, to the late Bessie Butler. She was a dedicated and faithful servant of Jehovah and she loved the ministry and shopping, and was especially known by her love for Jehovah, family and friends. Momma has finished her race and is now awaiting the resurrection. She was a dedicated wife to the late Jessie Lee and from the union of the marriage twelve children were born. Albert Lee Butler, Caroline Cain, Linda Lee, Anna Jupiter, Cynthia Dixon, Judy McCray, Sandra Jordan, Reginald Lee, Tangia Mills, Andre Lee, Melissa Walker and Kalvin Lee. She leaves to cherish her many beautiful memories: her children, Carolyn Cain, Linda Lee, Cynthia Dixon, Sandra (Morris) Jordan, Reginald (Tomika) Lee, Tangia (Michael) Mills, Andre (Deborah) Lee, Kalvin Lee. Daughter-in-law Brenda Butler and Son-in-law, Frederick Walker, all of Baton Rouge, LA. One sister, Margie (James) Bosley of Plaquemine, LA. Three generations of grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and over 8 million spiritual friends. Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019; at 4:00 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2562 Toulon Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
