Mary Calderwood Hunter, 82, died Wednesday in a Salt Lake Hospital of coronary occlusion.
Born January 29, 1868, in Coalville, Summit County, she was a daughter of Alexander and Margaret Salmon Calderwood.
Mrs. Hunter was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had been active in the Relief Society of the 12th ward in Salt Lake City.
She was married to Daniel Hunter in Coalville February 26, 1894. He died in 1935.
Survivors include five children: Dan C. Hunter, Sherman T. Hunter, and Mrs. Helen Hunter Alldredge, all of Salt Lake City; Byron Hunter, Naugatuck, Connecticut; and Mrs. Marie Cooper, Washington, D.C.; eight brothers and sisters: Dr. W. R. Calderwood and John M. Calderwood, bother of Salt Lake City; R.S. Calderwood, Tremonton, Box Elder county; and Walter Calderwood, Burley, Idaho; Mrs. Nettie C. Ruff, Mrs. Elizabeth C. Merrill, and Mrs. Jennie C. Stewart, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Isabelle Smith, Los Angeles, California; also 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 12:15 p.m. in the chapel, 124-4th East. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
