The Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at Oxford-University United Methodist Church in Oxford, MS with Rev. Eddie Rester and Rev. Warren Black Officiating.
Burial will take Place in Clear Creek Cemetery following the Service.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in West Hall at Waller Funeral Home and on Sunday Prior to the Service Beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the Atrium at Oxford-University United Methodist Church.
Born in Oxford, MS to Barbara Ferrell Briscoe and the Late Bobby Gene Briscoe.
Paul was a Partner in Briscoe and Sons Farms, Briscoe Family Properties and Briscoe Properties, LLC.
He was a Graduate of the University of Mississippi with a BBA in Management and Real Estate.
Paul Served on the Lafayette County Farm Bureau Board since 1980 and Served as President of the Board for Eighteen of those Years.
He also Served Three Terms on the Board of the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation.
He has also been a Member of First South Farm Credit for Over Thirty Three Years; and Served as a Member of the First South Farm Credit Board of Directors since 2008.
Paul Enjoyed Traveling with his Family and was Especially Fond of Family Trips Visiting the Western Areas of the United States.
He was an Active Fisherman and Enjoyed Involvement with the Oxford Bass Club.
His Dogs, "Sophie and T", held a Special Place in his Life and in his Heart.
He is Survived by his Wife, Martha Myers Briscoe of Oxford, MS; his Daughter, Shelby Briscoe Young and Husband, Ross, of Lillian, AL; his Son, Joshua Paul Briscoe and Wife, Mary Catherine, of Taylor, MS; his Mother, Barbara Ferrell Briscoe of Tupelo, MS; his Sister, Michelle McAuley and Husband, Robert, of Tupelo, MS; his Brother, John Briscoe and Wife, Dana, of Oxford, MS; One Granddaughter, Isabelle Lee Briscoe.
