Kathy Gibbs went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born on April 5, 1950 in Batesville, AR to parents, C.E. “Pat” Rose and Kathryn (Lewis) Rose. She graduated from Cave City School with the class of 1968. She enjoyed watching westerns and visiting her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She retired from White Rodgers in Batesville after 35 plus years. She later worked in the cafeteria for the Batesville School System. She was a Christian lady and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell R. Gibbs of Batesville and her parents of Cave City.

She is survived by her brothers, James “Shorty” Rose (Teressa) of Cave City, and Gary Rose (Beth) of Tennessee; nephews, Shawn Rose (Tonya) of Strawberry, and Dustin Rose (Billie) of Cave City; niece, Dana Irwin (Steve) of Ohio; special great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. John Sanders and Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Rose, Shawn Rose, Dustin Rose, Colton Rose, Clayton Rose, and Doug Brinkley.

Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny and Shirley Turner and Dr. Phillip Pack.
