James Allen Kimbell, age 69, of Jacksboro passed away Friday, February 8, 2019.
He was a US Vietnam Veteran where he received several medals including the Bronze Star.
Preceded in death by parents, Allen Kay Kimbell and Janice Fisher Lemon; son, Andrew Kimbell; sisters, Nancy Morin, Juli Kimbell and Mildred Astep
Survivors Daughter: Niki Kimbell Brother Allen Jay Kimbell III Sisters Deborah Charbonneau, Merry Ann Kimbell, Barara Kimbell Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date

Servicemen's Notes Wins Bronze Star
Pfc. James A. Kimbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Kimbell of Warren, recently was awarded the bronze star for meritorius service in heavy ground action
in Vietnam.
He also received two medals for valor from the south Vietnamese government, also the army-commendation medal with the V -- for Valor.
Jim recently returned to active duty in Vietnam after spending a 10 day leave with his family. Just before coming home he transferred to the Helicopter Service and received his silver wings.
