Thomas Don Bradshaw “Tommy” passed peacefully at his home on Feb. 13, 2019. Tommy was born July 26, 1945 to Dorothy Pittman. Tommy graduated from Hobbs High School in 1963 holding a state track title in pole vault. Tommy continued his education on a track scholarship to Howard College in Big Springs, TX. In 1964, Tommy married his high school sweetheart Marquita “Kita” Meekins. Shortly after marriage Tommy was drafted into the Army where he served from 1966 to 1968. Tommy and Kita were blessed with two boys and seven girls. James, Don, Mary, Tammy, Charlet, Shawna, Naomi, Stephanie, Anisha “Donut”. Tommy and Kita were blessed with 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. After the loss of Kita in 2001, Tommy met Judy Hay in 2004 and later married and blended the family in 2006 adding 2 more children Wesley Hay and Christy Turner and 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Tommy enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies Jack, Greg, Jerry at Lovington Country Club. Tommy also enjoyed poker and was a member of the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by one brother Warren Bradshaw and several nieces and nephews and his children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Pittman, four sisters; Claudine Martin, Mozelle Quinsberry, Wanda Fowler, Bonnie Sims, his brother, Ronnie Bradshaw and one son James Monroe Bradshaw.
