Poet, Journalist. Born in Venezia, Italy, Stefani began his career as a journalist in the newspaper "Il Gazzettino." In the early 60s, he was awarded the Bergamo Prize by his book "Elegie Veneziane" and he was widely recognized by his poem "Venezia More." In 1982, a collection of his poems were translated to English language and published under the name "No Other Goods. 55 Poems" His many works also include "Il Poeta Assassinato," "Poesie a un Ragazzo," "Il Male di Vivere," "Poesie Erotiche," "Se Venezia non Avesse il Ponte, l'Europa Sarebbe un'isola" and "Poesie Segrete." In 2000, Stefani published his last work "Una Solitudine Inquieta." In the following day of an anonymous hand wrote in the city of Venezia one phrase of the poet: "Loneliness is not being alone is to love the others uselessly," Stefani committed suicide in his house.
