A United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, Leland retired from Nylint Corporation after 23 years of employment. He was a lifetime member of Tabor Lutheran Church and a graduate of East High School, Class of 1950.
An avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, Leland enjoyed fishing, feeding birds and other animals, Sudoku puzzles, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Randy (Milla) Wright and Rodney (Cindy) Wright; grandchildren, Joshua and Sydney Wright, Jennifer (Chris) Money, and Garrett (Erica) McCoy; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Caroline, Addison, and Colton; brother, Al Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and sister, Joyce Warner.
