MELISSA FREEMAN SIMMONS
Was born November 16, 1967 and passed away February 10, 2019 at her home in Pine at the age of 51. Gone from us now, her laughter never to be heard again. A daughter, a sister, a mother, grandmother and to some a dear friend. Touching many on her journey, like a tiny pebble setting the ripples in motion.
A caretaker, a selfless heart, giving nothing less than her full devotion, she has left a void, filled now with only heartache and sorrow. But be of good cheer she would say, for the sun is coming tomorrow.
There will be another day, we will never again say goodbye. Please do not weep for me, please don’t you cry.

Visitation will be Wednesday February 13th at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church(28039 Luke Pace Road) from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 12:00 pm Wednesday with Bro. Darren Uzel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
