Ann Helen (Vagovich) Sather died peacefully on May 24, 2018 in Bloomington, MN at the age of 94. Ann is survived by her son, Timothy (Joanne) Sather Sr; grandchildren, Laura Ulak, Timothy (Megumi) Sather Jr., Jennifer (Brienne) Sather; great-grandchildren, Frankie and Sarah Ulak, Kou Sather, Dexter and Waverly Sather; sister, Helen Machowicz; and many loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; twin sister, Mary Peterson; brothers, Joseph (Vivian) Randall, John and Frank Vagovich; and her mother, Pauline Vagovich.

Ann was born on October 23, 1923 in Minneapolis. While in her 40's, she graduated from college at Mankato State University, with a degree in Elementary Education, and began her long career in education with the Edina Public School system. She also taught for Edina Montessori after she retired from Edina. Ann is irreplaceable, very loved, and she will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Creek Valley PTO at 6401 Gleason Rd., Edina, MN 55439. Donations are being used to help build a new playground for the students at the school that Ann loved so much.

Ann's funeral is scheduled for 11AM, May 30, with visitation one hour prior at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 4801 France Ave. S., Edina. Burial will be a private family event at Hillside Cemetery.
